The Triton College women's soccer team did their best to slow down NJCAA No. 17 ranked South Suburban College Sept. 30 at a soggy Jorndt Athletic Complex Multi-Purpose Field. However, the Bulldogs constant pressure wore the Trojans down in a 4-0 loss.
South Suburban (7-1) controlled the majority of the possession and got on the board midway through the first half to take a 1-0 edge.
The match stayed that way well into the second half before the Bulldogs closed out the final 22 minutes of play with three goals to put the game away.
Triton falls to 4-3-2 on the season and will host another strong regional opponent, Rock Valley College on Saturday, Oct. 3 beginning at 3 p.m. in River Grove.Â
