The Triton College volleyball team had their season come to an end in the NJCAA Region 4 Division II Quarterfinals after losing in straight sets (18-25, 11-25, 17-25) to No. 16 nationally ranked Sauk Valley Community College Nov. 5 in Dixon.
The Trojans finished a much-improved season 13-17, surpassing last years win total and being very competitive in many of the games they lost.
Triton was making their first postseason appearance in three years and had the daunting task of slowing a Sky Hawk squad that has reached the regional title game each of the last two seasons, including winning the region in 2023.
