The Triton College men's basketball team split their two games at the Midwest JUCO Challenge Nov. 8 and 9 hosted by Moberly Community College in Missouri.
The Trojans (2-1) rallied from an early 10-point hole to flip the script on host Moberly in an 87-77 win to conclude the weekend. Triton was down 18-8 to start and then surged to a 39-36 lead at halftime.
Dayjaun Anderson led the Trojans with 28 points and seven rebounds on 10-of-20 shooting from the field. 
Vijay Wallace was one of four other Triton players in double-figures with 15 points, seven rebounds on 6-of-12 shooting from the field.
Tolu Samuels added 11 points and five boards. 
Kaiden Space ended up with 11 points and six assists. 
Chase Coleman chipped in 10 points in the winning cause for the Trojans.
For the game, Triton shot just under 50 percent from the field (30-of-61) and drained 10 three's a s a team.
The Trojans is their opening game of the Midwest JUCO Challenge fell victim to Sate Fair Community College 66-59. Triton had to play from behind throughout and could not catch the Roadrunners who pulled off the upset.
Space led the Trojans with 16 points. Wallace finished with 11 points and six rebounds.
Triton will host a classic this weekend at the Jordnt Athletic Complex gymnasium. The Trojans first game is against McCook Community College from Nebraska, Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.
The Trojans who entered the season ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA are now No. 11 in the latest poll released Nov. 12.
