Despite allowing their first two goals of the season, things continued to roll along smoothly for the Triton College men's soccer team Sept. 3 in River Grove against Elgin Community College.
Ronaldo Rojas scored the first two Trojans goals the opening 15 minutes as No. 12 ranked Triton cruised to an 8-2 victory over the Spartans to remain unbeaten at 4-0.
Shortly after the pair of Rojas goals,
Pablo Mancha found the back of the net to give Triton a 3-0 advantage.
Elgin did record the next goal, ending a string that saw the Trojans outscore their opponents 29-0 to begin the season.
Then Triton dominated the last 20 minutes of the first half to go into halftime up 6-1 on tallies from
Paul Urban,
Gabriel Schiavoni and
Justin Ocampo.
Schiavoni would add another goal in the second half along with
Gabriel Howland-Lopez for the Trojans.
