Garrick Abezetian became Triton College’s Associate Vice President of Athletics in January of 2020. Before moving over the Athletic Department, Abezetian for 10 years worked in the Triton business office as Associate Vice President of Finance. He was active in helping make the renovation of the outdoor athletic fields a reality.

Prior to coming to Triton, Abezetian worked 21 years for W.W. Grainger, Inc.

Abezetian is graduate of Maine South High School. He earned degrees from Oakton Community College, Eastern Illinois University and received his masters from DePaul University.

Away from Triton, Abezetian serves as the President of Park Ridge Baseball/Softball. He has held that post since 1979. He is also Chairman/Emeritus of Park Ridge football since 1972.

For the past 49 years, Abezetian has worked as an IHSA football official and has won numerous awards in the recreation and sports fields during his career.

Abezetian resides in Park Ridge with his wife and has two grown children.
