Jarviss Sutton joins the Triton College women’s basketball staff for the 2024-25 season. Sutton was a member of two IHSA state final teams at St. Joseph High School. He played under the leadership of the great late coach Gene Pingatore, winning the Class 3A state championship in 2015 and were state runners-up in 2016.

Following his completion of high school, Sutton attended Olive Harvey College where he graduated and went on to play competitively at North Park University in Chicago.

After basketball, Sutton’s passion for the sport and eagerness to give back and work with the youth in our community led him to coaching with a local Chicago based AAU program Chicago Xtreme. Sutton also has had the privilege of playing with and against numerous professional and European players. His ability to connect with the youth, in addition to his high basketball IQ and ability to interpret the game in a manner they can relate to makes him ideal for longevity and success as a coach and mentor in this sport.
