Dantario “DT” Ward begins his first season on the Triton women’s basketball staff. Ward, a local product played high school ball at Proviso West where he was the Panthers starting point guard and team captain. He went on to play collegiately at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills.
 
Since then, Ward’s passion for the game has transitioned him from being a youth Athletic Trainer to coaching. For several years, he coached the 5^th and 6^th grade boys program for Chicago Xtreme. However, the highlight of his young coaching career came during the 2021-22 season as Ward served as head coach of the freshman boys’ basketball team at his alma mater, Proviso West.
