Robert Isaac enters his second year as the head coach of the Triton College men's and women's track and field programs. He comes highly decorated from the high school ranks. Coach Isaac has had multiple conference champions and state qualifiers. Coach Isaac revived the throwing program at Proviso West High School. He spent 4 years building the men’s and women’s throwing programs, producing eight all-conference members (2018-2021) and the girls first state qualifier (2019) in 25 years in the shot put event.
 
Coach Isaac also gives back to the kids. He trains 9-14 year old throwers in the summer to compete in the United States of America Track & Field Jr. Olympics. He helped cultivate a national qualifier in the 11-12 age group with a 10 year old thrower (2019). He also has an international champion in the shot put on his resume (2018). A level 2 throws coach, former collegiate thrower, sprinter, football player and boxer, coach Isaac has plenty of athletic diversity in his background.
 
Among his many hats you can find coach Isaac at Gately Park Track and Field teaching and instructing the youth of Chicago. He also teaches at the local high school. Coach Isaac believes education is the key out of ignorance. Holding four college degrees, he is a man of action and not just rhetoric.
 
Coach Isaac is a product of this district and is proud to be leading the Trojans Track and Field program into a bigger, brighter, better direction.
