It was a very successful home opener for the Triton College men's soccer team who picked their first win of the season in a 7-0 blanking of Daley College (Aug. 26) at the Jorndt Athletic Complex Multi-Purpose Field.  

The Trojans were paced by a pair of first half goals from Manuel Martinez (Larkin), including a scoring on a free kick from 25-yards in the 34^th minute to give Triton a 4-0 lead into halftime.

Mizael Arias (Lake View) struck twice himself in the second half as Trojans were never really threatened.

Rafael Burciaga (Fenton), Vladimir Martinez (Leyden) and Maksymilian Sliwa (Taft) each scored goals for Triton.

The Trojans (1-0-1) will travel to face long-time neighborhood rival, Oakton College on Saturday (Aug. 29). Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. in Des Plaines.
