Goals were scored early and often by the Triton College men's soccer team as the Trojans remained unbeaten following an easy 9-0 win over Milwaukee Area Technical College Sept. 10 at the Jorndt Athletic Complex Multi-Purpose Stadium.
Triton who received votes in this weeks NJCAA Division II poll improved their mark to 5-0-2.
The Trojans quickly went up 2-0 nothing the first five minutes of the contest on goals by
Giovanni Alvarez and
Kacper Kuczynski. Triton would eventually build a 7-0 advantage at halftime before the contest ended in the 70
th minute under the new NJCAA mercy rule.
Alvarez and
Denis Dvoretskiy paced the Trojans with two goals apiece.
Juan Apolo and
Mizael Arias each tallied a goal and an assist.Â
Emir Heto scored a goal and had two assists. Akki Akkouche also found the back of the net for Triton.
Enzo Dagatti assisted on the two second half Trojan goals.
Daniel Llanos and
Adam Jedrzejczyk split the duties in goal, combining on four saves to get the shutout.
Triton is back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 17 to host Joliet Junior College beginning at 4:00 p.m.
