The Triton College women's basketball team earned their sixth consecutive win in cruising to an 81-42 win over Daley College Feb. 18 at the Jorndt Athletic Complex gymnasium.
The Trojans (22-4) were looking to send a statement to the Bulldogs in their only regular season meeting as there is a chance the two teams could see each other again in the opening round of Region 4 Division I Tournament in early March.
Triton dominated the play inside led by sophomore center
Jordyn Coleman. The Division I recruit was one assist shy of a triple-double, finishing with a game-high 22 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists. Coleman eclipsed 900 career points in her stellar career, becoming just the ninth player in Triton women's basketball history to achieve that milestone. She is 95 points away from the 1,000-point plateau with three regular season games remaining plus the playoffs.

Lauryn Hunt was too much to handle for Daley as well. The sophomore from Milwaukee grabbed 13 boards along with scoring eight points.
The Trojans got a much need boost in the lineup with the return of second-leading scorer
Jazzmine Smith who sat out the previous six games in concussion protocol. In 13 minutes off the bench, Smith tallied 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Jada Branch added 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field.
Mariah Phelps was also in double-figures with 10 points. Redshirt-freshman
Tranika Randolph chipped in nine points for the Trojans.
Triton will play their final road game of the regular season Thursday (Feb. 20) at Malcolm X College. Game time is 5 p.m. The Trojans are back home Saturday (Feb. 22) for Sophomore Day when they host Joliet Junior College at 1 p.m. Prior the game, Coleman, Hunt,
