The Triton College women's basketball team picked up their first win of the season in a convincing 83-26 road victory Nov. 7 at Daley College.
It was the first time the teams have met since 2015 and the Trojans got off to a quick start, paced by four three-pointers as a team to lead 26-6 after one quarter.
Triton was on cruise control from that point, building a 49-14 halftime advantage.
Sophomore
Jalyn Jimenez led the Trojans with 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field, including a blistering 5-of-6 from long range.
Mariah Robinson was one of four additional Triton players in double-figures with 13 points.
Aliana Brown had 12 points along with nine assists.
Riverside-Brookfield product
Ava Marrello finished with 12 points and seven steals.
Center
Jordyn Coleman had 10 points, six rebounds and three blocks.
For the game, the Trojans had 22 assists and shot 11-of-23 from three-point land. Triton forced 30 Daley turnovers.
