The Triton College men's soccer team continues to cruise along against the Region 4 district opponents they're required to face. The Trojans once again dictated play, but their only blemish was allowing a late goal in the closing seconds in a 6-1 win over College of DuPage Sept. 21 in River Grove.
Triton still ran
ked No. 10 in the latest NJCAA Division II poll is a perfect 10-0 on the season.
Freshman forward
Ronaldo Rojas filled up the scoresheet once again as he was involved in the Trojans first four goals. He assisted
Gabriel Schiavoni's goal four minutes into the match to put Triton on the board. For the Schiavoni, the tally was his 11
th on the season.
Then Rojas picked up his team leading 18
th and 19
th goals of the year to close the half as Triton held a 3-0 lead at intermission.
Rojas would assist on the team's fourth goal, scored early in the second by
Paul Urban.
Currently,
Rojas leads the nation in both goals scored (19) and total points (44)
Bernardo Elias and
Sebastian Maciata added the final two goals for the Trojans.
