The Triton College men's soccer picked up their fourth shutout victory of the season to improve to 8-0 in their 4-0 win Sept. 14 in River Grove over Black Hawk College.
The No. 10 ranked Trojans had to work for their tallies against a Braves squad who would not go down easily.
Gabriel Schiavoni scored the first and last goals for Triton.
Ricardo Orozco and Rolando Rojas added the other two Trojans goals. The Rojas goal, his 15
th of the season added to his Region 4 leading total.
The Trojans due to some recent injuries had to mix and match their lineup. However, the teams overall depth and talent found a way to get things done.
Jesus Mancha in goal made five saves for Triton.
"Black Hawk was very organized and compacted," said assistant coach
Maciej Orlowski. "It was challenging at times but we put things together when we needed to earn the result."
