After having a 14-day layoff because two more games were canceled due to schools not having enough healthy players, the Triton College women's soccer returned to the pitch in a big way Oct. 1 at Illinois Valley Community College.
The Trojans dominated from the start in a 10-0 win against an Eagle squad that had no substitutes. The lack of games has effected undefeated Triton (5-0) in the NJCAA rankings as despite the convincing win, the Trojans fell out of the top 20.

Delanye Sanchez and
Evelyn Posada each scored two goals for Triton.
Denise Jimenez,
Juliana Samano,
Jacquline Jacinto and
Kayla Zarinana all found the back of the net.
Keiley Castellanos,
Adri Cornejo and
Micaela Sanchez had two assists apiece as the Trojans outshot IVCC in the match by a 20-1 margin.
