A big fourth quarter was the difference after a sluggish first three periods for the Triton College women's basketball team Dec. 7 at the Collins Center vs. Moraine Valley Community College.
The Trojans trailed 39-38 entering the last stanza before flipping the switch the last 10 minutes, outscoring the Cyclones 27-14 to pull away for a 65-53 win.
Keisy Alvarez led Triton (9-3) with 16 points and six rebounds in 31 minutes played.
Proviso East graduate
Kendra Hatley added 15 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Temya Russell finished with 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
