A week layoff did not slow the down the Triton College women's soccer team. The Trojans controlled matters from start to finish to shutout Kishwaukee College Oct. 6 at the Multi-Purpose Stadium.
Joanna Bahena scored the first of her two goals five minutes into the match to give Triton the early lead.
The Trojans dominated play but could score again until late in the contest as Triton tallied three goals in the last 15 minutes.
Maura Wolf and
Grace Larson scored three minutes apart before Bahera found the back of the net for a second time with four minutes remaining. She would also have an assist.
Larson added two helpers.
Keiley Castellanos had an assist for the Trojans.
Priscila Ortiz saved the lone shot attempt at her to earn the shutout.
