The Triton College men's soccer team returned to action Oct. 9 in River Grove against College of Lake County. Despite limited practice time to prepare, the Trojans took care of business in shutting out the Lancers 6-0.
Triton sported their pink jerseys in recognition of breast cancer awareness and jumped to a 3-0 halftime lead on goals by
Marcin Kieta,
Maciej Rzadkosz and
Aldo Arellano.
The Trojans maintained the lead until the 65
th minute when Arellano scored once more off an assist from Alberto Martinez.
Sebastian Maciata and
Luis Aviles tallied the final two scores for Triton.
Konrad Madej added a pair of assists.
Alexander Nunez,
Jesus Mancha and
Isai Aparicio combined for the shutout in goal for the Trojans with each recording one save.
