The Triton College men's soccer team took control from the start of their Region IV Division III quarterfinal game Oct. 19 in River Grove versus Milwaukee Tech. Triton scored four times in the first 17 minutes and never looked back. The Trojans were able to rest their starters most of the game in a 7-0 dismantling of the Stormers.
Top-seeded Triton (16-1) will host the No. 4 seed Rock Valley College in a Region IV semifinal game Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the East Campus Athletic Complex multi-purpose field. If you can't make it to the game, it will be streamed live on the

The Trojans blanked the Golden Eagles (7-7-1) in both regular season meetings winning 2-0 Sept. 11 at Triton and 4-0 Oct. 4 in Rockford. The Triton/Rock Valley winner will face either Madison or Harper College for the Region IV championship on Saturday.
In the victory over Milwaukee Tech,
Fernando Alvarado's first of two goals (Lane Tech) got the Trojans on the board at the four minute mark.
Alex Mezyk (Lane Tech) scored the first of his two goals two minutes later off an assist from
Marcin Kieta (Lane Tech). Kieta assisted on three of the first four Triton tallies.
NJCAA All-American nominee
Christopher Modzejewski (St. Patrick) scored his team-leading 19
th and 20th goals of the season in the first half onslaught that saw the Trojans enjoy a commanding 6-0 advantage at halftime.
Elmwood Park High School graduate
Oscar Hamera scored the lone Triton goal in the second half during the 74
th minute off an assist from
Mateusz Pasula (Conant).
Piotr Pyz (Conant) and
Alonzo Reyes (Morton) split the game in goal for the Trojans with each recording one save.
