Aaron Rolle is entering his first season as an assistant coach at Triton College, bringing more than a decade of collegiate coaching, recruiting, player development, and basketball operations experience to the program.
Prior to joining Triton, Rolle served as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Morton College from 2017–2020. During his three-year tenure, he led the Panthers to a 57-41 overall record, back-to-back Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference championships in 2018 and 2019, and a Region 4 championship in 2019, earning the program a trip to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. Rolle earned nine Coach of the Year honors during his time at Morton and helped 10 student-athletes continue their basketball careers at four-year institutions.
Before taking the helm at Morton, Rolle spent six seasons as an assistant and associate head coach at Roosevelt University in downtown Chicago. There, he played an integral role in recruiting, player development, scouting, academic support, and offensive strategy. Rolle recruited seven members of Roosevelt’s 2017–18 team, which finished the season 26–8 and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament.
Rolle has also built extensive experience on the national basketball scene, coaching and supporting operations at several prominent events and programs, including the Reebok Breakout Challenge, Under Armour All-America Camp, and multiple seasons on the Under Armour Grassroots and Rise circuits.
Originally from Sterling, Illinois, Rolle has also coached and trained at Dixon High School, Sterling High School, and the Latin School of Chicago. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from DePaul University in 2008.
Rolle lives in Chicago with his wife, Michelle, and their son, Remington.
