Ricky Robertson, a four-time NCAA national qualifier, starts his first year as assistant coach at Triton College. 
 
Prior to Triton College, Robertson has coached for Team Illinois at Fargo and at the Junior Duals. He’s coached at the High School level with Andrew High School in Tinley Park, and continues to coach at the youth level with the Vittum Cats Wrestling Club.
 
Robertson attended the University of Wisconsin where he was a 4x NCAA Qualifier and a 4x Big Ten Tournament Place winner…a Junior Pan Ams Champion in both Freestyle and Greco in 2014…that same year he was a Fila Junior Freestyle Champ and Junior World Team Trials Runner-Up. 
 
An Illinois native. Robertson attended Mount Carmel High School and Carl Sandburg High School where he picked up a myriad of accolades. A 4x state qualifier, he was a state champ as a senior and state runner-up as a junior ... double All-American at the 2012 ASICS University a FILA Cadet Nationals after finishing second in both freestyle and Greco-Roman competition ... double All-American at the 2012 Fargo Cadet and Junior National Championships after finishing fourth in both styles ... double All-American at the 2011 Fargo Championships after finishing first in freestyle competition and second in Greco-Roman competition ...part of 6 combined Greco and Freestyle National Dual Team Championships winning teams.
