Maciej Orlowski has been on coach Sliwa’s staff since 2014 and works with both the men’s and women’s programs at Triton. Orlowski found his interest in soccer after arriving to Chicago from Poland. He played at Triton for two years (2011 and 2012) as a goalkeeper. As a freshman, he ranked second in the nation in goalkeeping among NJCAA Division III schools.

Orlowski started coaching at Prosser Career Academy High School; his team won the Regional Championship. After two years of coaching at the high school level, he was offered to be part of the coaching staff at Triton. The 2020 season will mark his seventh year as an assistant coach for the men’s team and third year for the women’s team.

His passion towards the sport is also demonstrated by being active in many youth and adult teams. Orlowski is currently coaching Czarni Jaslo where he also has played. He has been associated with the team for six years, winning many league championships. Orlowski helps with AAC Eagles program. He coaches youth teams U14-U17 and has also served as an assistant coach for AAC Eagles first team since 2017, where he reached his first Indoor Championship.

The other big hobby of his is officiating. Orlowski has been a soccer official for many years and is currently a soccer referee assignor for Chicago Public Schools.
