Alyssa Stramaglia

Two-time NJCAA All-American Alyssa Stramaglia returns home to Triton to join Ken Jurasz’ staff as an assistant coach. Stramaglia was the ace of the Trojans’ pitching staff that made consecutive NJCAA Division II National Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2022. She earned second team All-American honors in 2022 and third team accolades in 2021.
 
Stramaglia finished her Triton career with a 41-6 record in 57 appearances. She struck out a school record 500 batters in her two seasons. Known for her durability, Stramaglia pitched 322.1 innings in making 31 starts, throwing 15 complete games and compiling seven shutouts while wearing a Trojans uniform.  
 
After Triton, Stramaglia went on to play at the NCAA Division I level for Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. where she appeared in 25 games in two years. Stramaglia graduated from Ball State with a Bachelor’s Degree in general studies.
 
In addition to helping Triton, Stramaglia for the last two years has served as a coach for the Windy City Softball travel league based in Rosemont along with providing private pitching lessons.
 
Currently, Stramaglia is back at Triton as a student in the radiology program.
