The Triton College women's and men's soccer teams each picked up their first wins of the season Sept. 12 with wins over Milwaukee Area Tech at the George T. Jordnt Athletic Complex.
Women
The Trojans jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 6-1 victory over the Stormers.
Delanye Sanchez led the Triton attack with a goal and three assists.
Kaylee Cuezzi, Hailey Salgaldo,
Morelia Gonzalez,
Arlene Granda and
Alyssa Arredondo scored the other goals for the Trojans.
Triton (1-1) is back home on Saturday, Sept. 16 to take on Truman at 6:00 p.m. The game will stream live on HUDL and tritonathletics.com.
Men
Triton controlled the play and did enough to earn a 3-0 shutout over Milwaukee Tech. A pair of
Pablo Mancha tallies were sandwiched around a
Bryan Bielma goal.
Jose Matute assisted on all three Trojan goals.
Michael Urias and
John Olmos shared the goalkeeping duties en route to holding the visitors scoreless.
The Trojans (1-1-1) will travel to Elgin Community College Saturday, Sept. 12 for a Noon kickoff.
