The Triton women's soccer team earned their first N4C conference win with a 2-0 shutout over Milwaukee Tech at the Multi-Purpose Field. The Lady Trojans controlled possession for nearly the entire first half but went into the intermission with the Stormers scoreless. Then in the 2nd half, Triton struck quick as
Melanie Lopez-Pena scored in the 49th minute to put the Trojans on the board.
Katlyn Scheeringa would provide Triton an insurance goal in the 89th minute.
Claudia Ulloa assisted on both goals.
The Trojans are back in action on Sept. 22 when they host College of DuPage at the Multi-Purpose Field. Kick-off is at 4:00 p.m.
