Piotr Sliwa

The 2025 season will be Coach Sliwa’s 14th season as head coach of the Triton College men's soccer team after serving three seasons as an assistant coach. Sliwa also served as head coach of the Triton women’s soccer program from 2018-23.

During his tenure coaching the men’s program, Sliwa has led the Trojans to three NJCAA Division III Region IV championships (2012, 2017, 2019), five North Central Community College Conference (N4C) titles (2012, 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2019) and a NJCAA National Tournament appearance in 2012.

Sliwa has produced eight NJCAA Division III All-Americans along with numerous all-conference and all-region athletes was selected N4C Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2019. He was named Region IV Division III Coach of the Year in 2012, 2017 and 2019.

Sliwa played collegiate soccer at Dominican University in River Forest for four years. At Dominican, Sliwa was an all-conference selection for three years. In his junior and senior years, he was All-Region First Team selection and helped Dominican reach the NCAA Division III Elite Eight. In all four years at Dominican, Sliwa played on teams that won the conference and conference tournaments.

After college, Sliwa won a pair on National Championships for A.A.C. Eagles and Sockers FG. Sliwa played indoor soccer professionally as goalkeeper for the Orlando Seawolves of the MASL. He also played for the Rockford Rampage, Seattle Impact, Ontario Fury, St. Louis Ambush and Florida Tropics. Sliwa has played the outdoor game at A.A.C Eagles, RWB Adria, and Cedar Rapids Rampage winning numerous State Cup’s, regional and national championships. Sliwa has coached youth level soccer at Schaumburg Alliance, Sockers FC, and A.A.C Eagles.

In 2013, Sliwa was the recipient of the “Sports Award” from the Polish American Congress Illinois Division.
